Queen Bey-approved! Meghan Trainor revealed to Access Hollywood that Beyonce is one of her biggest fans. The “All About That Bass” singer said Jay Z’s wife came up to her at the Billboard Women in Music event last month and gushed over her.
"She came up to me and held my hands and said, 'I love your music, my daughter and I listen to your songs every day and dance to them,'" Trainor told Access Hollywood. "I freaked out!"
“I was pretty much complete with my life,” she admitted of the amazing moment. “I was like, 'Oh! That's it, Beyonce likes my songs. I'm done.'"
Trainor, in reality, is far from being done. The 21-year-old just released her debut album, Title, which landed her two Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
“It’s so nice cause people will see other sides of me that I’ve been wanting them to see since day one,” Trainor told Ryan Seacrest in an interview on Tuesday, Jan. 13. “I’m not just like the doo-wop girl.”
