Levi’s is diving into the Britpop archives with the launch of a new collection paying homage to legendary English band blur.
The Levi’s x blur Band Tee Collection dropped globally on April 10, bringing fans a fresh set of vintage-style tees inspired by the group’s early era and musical legacy.
Formed in 1989 by Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, blur rose to international fame in the 1990s and helped define a cultural moment with albums like “Parklife,” “The Great Escape,” and “Modern Life Is Rubbish.” Their blend of sharp lyrics, genre-spanning sound, and cultural commentary made them one of the U.K.’s most celebrated bands. In total, blur has released five U.K. #1 albums and songs that remain pop culture touchstones, such as “Song 2,” “Tender,” and “Coffee & TV.”
This new collaboration from Levi’s highlights that legacy with three limited-edition tees: two featuring blur’s distinctive logo in red and blue colorways, and one showcasing the artwork from 1995’s “The Great Escape,” which marks its 30th anniversary this year. The shirts are finished with special ‘90s-style woven labels, giving them a nostalgic, era-accurate edge.

The Levi’s x blur Band Tee Collection is part of a wider series celebrating influential musical acts, with recent releases dedicated to Sonic Youth, Joy Division, New Order, and Oasis. The collaboration was made possible by WMX, Warner Music Group’s merchandise and fan experiences division.
