Kristin Cavallari is coming clean about what the “perfect man” looks like for her — and whether she’s ready to settle down.
“So, I’m not looking. For the last year or so, dating has not been a priority,” the Uncommon James jewelry brand founder exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping while promoting The Reunion: Laguna Beach.
“Honestly, even if I met Mr. Right today, I don’t know how he would fit into my life at the moment,” Cavallari, 39, explained, noting her coparenting situation with her ex-husband, Jay Cutler. The pair divorced in 2022 and share three children: sons Camden, 13, and Wyatt, 11, and daughter Sailor, 10.
“I realistically have every other weekend, and like last weekend, when my kids were at their dad’s house, I had a whole weekend to myself. I could do whatever I wanted. I didn’t have to see anybody, and I loved that,” she continued. “I’m not ready to give that up. I really value alone time. That’s how I recharge my batteries.”
The Laguna Beach alum shared that her life is “full right now” with her businesses and children.
“My kids are really busy with sports. It is full on and then obviously work is at 110 right now. With Uncommon James, we’ve got a ton of awesome activations coming up in partnerships and I’m really excited about the future there. Obviously, the reunion and my podcast, I’m maxed out,” she told Us.
Cavallari added that it may take a few years before she’s ready for a permanent plus one.
“Maybe when Cam is driving, maybe things would look a little different,” she said.
That doesn’t mean the Let’s Be Honest podcast queen doesn’t know exactly what she’s looking for.
“My dream guy in my head, my perfect man, would be older than me, [with] a couple of kids who are potentially older,” Cavallari shared. “He’s not in entertainment whatsoever. I think he’s been successful, but he’s on his way out, sort of how I look at it.”
The businesswoman also shared what their life would look like together.
“I want to find someone in the same phase of life as me, so that we can travel and just have a good time together, but I need someone who’s really comfortable in their skin, who makes me laugh, who doesn’t need to try to compete with me in any way, which has been the case in my past, which is bizarre,” she told Us.
Cavallari and her Laguna Beach castmates have found themselves back in the spotlight recently while promoting their first reunion in over 20 years.
The Reunion: Laguna Beach features Cavallari, Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Schuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, Alex Hooser and Morgan Smith.
The former high school besties (and sometimes enemies) joined forces to reminisce about the good old days and put the past — and all the drama — behind them.
The special also features a heartfelt moment between Cavallari and her one-time nemesis Conrad, 40, as the two share their first intimate conversation on camera.
Conrad previously told Us that several of her Laguna Beach cast members were “hesitant” about participating in the reunion.
“I had to call Christina, Morgan and Loa and they asked me really honest questions. They were like, ‘We all live pretty quiet lives. Do we want to do this again?’ We just really talked it out. So, yeah — everyone had really healthy hesitancies,” she said at the Los Angeles premiere last month.
The Reunion: Laguna Beach premieres on The Roku Channel on April 10.
