Kate Gosselin is looking back on the past — with some familiar faces.
“Really had to dig to find pics to fit this trend,” Gosselin, 50, captioned a recent TikTok video montage of what her life was like in the 1990s.
Amongst the throwback images were a handful that showed Kate and her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. In one pic, the now-exes were all smiles as they posed in very ’90s-esque getups. Kate and Jon, 48, rang in the new year in a follow-up image.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alums were married from 1999 to 2009, during which time they welcomed twins Mady and Cara in 2001 and sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin in 2004.
After becoming parents of eight, Jon and Kate led an eponymous docuseries on TLC, Jon & Kate Plus 8, from 2007 to 2017. The show was ultimately renamed Kate Plus 8 after Jon and Kate divorced.
“Parents of multiples have triple the divorce rate,” Kate tearfully claimed on a May 2009 episode of the show. “I was thinking we were going to beat that. I don’t know if I can say that anymore.”
The Gosselins finalized their divorce in December 2009, where they were granted shared physical custody of all eight kids. Kate, meanwhile, received sole legal custody.
Kate later claimed in 2016 that Collin was receiving treatment at an inpatient facility after alleged behavior issues. Jon and Collin, now 21, both denied the claims before the TLC patriarch filed for full custody of his son. Collin’s sister Hannah later moved in with her dad and brother.

“I couldn’t feel luckier [to have such a good relationship with my father],” Hannah, also now 21, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in May 2022. “We are so similar and actually love to hang out together. Put it this way: We laugh a lot, and we rarely fight because he knows I’m always right.”
Collin and Hannah were the only Gosselin kids to attend Jon’s wedding to wife Stephanie Lebo in November 2025.
“I took the polar opposite person [of Kate], and I fell in love with her,” Jon told Entertainment Tonight at the time of getting married for a second time. “It’s a lot easier when it’s someone that is in line with all your morals and ideals and family values. … She has shown me how to be sympathetic because I was very non-sympathetic, coming out of my divorce. She just made a better me.”
Kate has also moved on with her boyfriend, Steve Neild.
