Brazilian influencer Karla Thaynnara has died at age 25 after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
Local outlet Correio Braziliense reported that Thaynnara died on Tuesday, March 3, after her motorcycle collided with a car on a highway in the region.
Thaynnara’s father, Military Police officer José Carlos Andrade Nogueira, arrived at the scene and died by suicide after learning about his daughter’s death, according to the outlet.
Thaynnara and Nogueira’s deaths were confirmed via an Instagram Story shared to the influencer’s account on Tuesday.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karla and José Carlos,” a message read on Tuesday, translated to English via ChatGPT.
The post noted that a wake would be held on Wednesday, March 4. A separate Instagram Story showed an image of a motorcycle on a road and noted that there would be a motorcycle procession. “In mourning for #Karla,” text read, translated to English via ChatGPT.
A third Instagram Story depicted a video of a person riding a motorcycle down the road. “My princess, you will remain forever in our hearts. 🖤,” the message read, translated to Egnlish via ChatGPT.
Thaynnara, who had more than 61,000 Instagram followers, shared fitness content and tributes to her daughter.
“It was her birthday, but I’m the one who receives the gift every day…” Thaynnara wrote via Instagram in 2025, alongside snaps of the mother-daughter duo. “She arrived and, without knowing it, healed me, transformed me, and taught me what truly matters. With her, I discovered the purest, strongest, and truest love that exists.”
She continued, “My daughter, you are the peace I didn’t even know I was looking for, the reason for my days, and the most sincere smile in my world. Happy birthday, my love. Loving you is my greatest privilege. 🩷💙.”
Her last Instagram post before her death was uploaded on February 21, showing her in the gym working out. In the comments section, users shared their condolences.
“So beautiful, so young, so strong!” one user wrote. “It’s impossible to hear the news and not be impacted. May you and your father be in God’s arms, with your souls comforted, and may the Holy Spirit console those who loved you and remain, especially your daughter. I didn’t know you, but today my prayers are with you!”
A separate user added, “My deepest condolences to the entire family. May God comfort everyone’s hearts and welcome Karla with open arms! 😢.”
