“My Boys,” Simpson captioned the first photo of Johnson cradling his mini-me outside by a pool. “Obsessed,” she appropriately wrote alongside the second photo, in which Johnson smiles at the camera while a sleepy-looking Ace eyes the camera over his dad’s shoulder.

“I’m excited to see Ace grow into his own person and watch his personality develop more each day," Simpson told Parents.com shortly after welcoming her second child in June 2013. "We see different parts of our family in each of them."
