Pretty Little Liars alum Janel Parrish has broken her silence on her divorce from husband Chris Long.
“Thank you all for the incredibly kind and supportive messages, they’ve truly meant the world,” Parrish, 37, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 10. “After 10 beautiful years together, including seven years of marriage, Chris and I made the difficult decision to end our marriage.”
Luxury Handbag Shopping confirmed several hours earlier that Parrish and Long, 41, had been separated for a few months.
“There is still so much love and respect between us, and I’m deeply grateful for everything we built together,” the Hallmark actress added on Friday. “This chapter of my life, and Chris, will always mean so much to me. Thank you all again for the messages of love and support.”
Parrish and Long got engaged in 2017 after one year of dating.
“He just is my person. My soul knows him,” she exclusively told Us in August 2018. “He’s my best friend in the entire world. And no matter what, if I’m having the worst day ever, I feel like I have somebody who understands me. And even if he doesn’t quite understand me at that moment, he tries to, and that feels so nice.”
The pair tied the knot the next month in Hawaii.
“We feel so lucky we found each other in this crazy world,” Parrish told Us in a statement at the time. “Marrying my dream man in my home of Hawaii surrounded by family and friends was a dream.”
Parrish and Long celebrated their seventh anniversary in September 2025, shortly before he supported the actress’ endometriosis surgery recovery.
“I’m currently recovering from my second surgery, but FIRST excision surgery. Five hours under the knife and the surgery was a success,” she wrote via Instagram in December 2025. “[I] finally have some hope. … Thankful to my nurse @c_long for being there every step of the way.”
Parrish and Long have not publicly revealed their reason for separating or whether they have moved on. Parrish, for her part, has since been spotted with Dancing With the Stars alum Sasha Farber.
“She’s still got it @janelparrish 🔥,” Farber, 41, wrote via Instagram, sharing a video of Parrish dancing.
Reposting the clip via her Story, Parrish wrote, “When you ask @sashafarber1 to teach you a dance in the parking lot.”
Parrish was partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy during DWTS season 19, while Farber was a member of the troupe.
