Jamie Foxx and girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp have reportedly called it quits after more than one year of dating.
People first reported the pair’s breakup on Friday, January 24, but did not specify when the two parted ways.
Foxx, 57, and Huckstepp sparked romance speculation in August 2023 when they were spotted at Nobu in Malibu, California with friends. A few weeks later, the pair were seen vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Luxury Handbag Shopping confirmed the following month that the Oscar winner was getting “fairly serious” with Huckstepp.
“Things are going really well with Jamie and his girlfriend, Alyce,” a source exclusively told Us in September 2023, revealing that Foxx and Huckstepp had been “dating for a little over a year now” even though they waited until summer 2023 to step out publicly.
The insider noted that the comedian and Huckstepp had “told one another they love each other and they have an amazing time whenever they’re together.”
“Alyce has a great sense of humor so she’s able to keep up with Jamie,” the source added. “They have a very playful banter, and she keeps him on his toes which he loves.”
Foxx and Huckstepp kept their romance quiet for some time, but she was there for him when he was hospitalized in 2023 after suffering an undisclosed “medical condition.”
In April of that year, Jamie’s eldest daughter, Corinne Fox, revealed that her dad “experienced a medical complication” while filming his latest Netflix project, Back in Action. (Jamie shares Corinne, 30, with ex-girlfriend Connie Kline and daughter Anelise, 16, with ex Kristin Grannis.)
Jamie was admitted to the hospital and remained under doctor’s care until May 2023 when he was released. The actor revealed during his December 2024 Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was …, that he suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
During his recovery, Huckstepp was by his side, according to the insider. “Aside from his family, Alyce has been a huge source of support throughout his recovery process,” the source told Us in September 2023.
The insider added: “She makes him really happy, and they spend as much time together as possible.”
When Jamie returned to work to promote Back in Action earlier this month, Huckstepp wasn’t spotted at any of his press events.
The Spider-Man: No Way Replica Luxury Handbag actor’s two daughters, however, joined him at the 82nd Annual Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on January 5. Anelise was also photographed with her dad at Back in Action’s special screening in Berlin on January 15.
Prior to his relationship with Huckstepp, Jamie dated Katie Holmes from 2013 to 2019.
Jamie shut down romance rumors about him and singer Sela Vave in August 2019 before sparking relationship speculation with Dana Caprio that October. Jamie never publicly addressed those rumors.
