James Van Der Beek’s wife, Kimberly, is sharing her love for her man amid his ongoing cancer battle.

Kimberly, 43, cheered on the Dawson’s Creek star in the comments section of his latest Instagram post, giving a little update on how he’s doing.

“You’re a wizard. Bouncing back, baby!! 😍😍😍,” the mom of six wrote Monday, November 24, under Van Der Beek’s post. (The couple share children Olivia, 15, Joshua, 13, Annabel, 11, Emilia, 9, Gwendolyn, 7, and Jeremiah, 4.)

On Monday, Van Der Beek announced that he is selling replicas of his character’s away game football jersey from the hit 1999 movie Varsity Blues, with the proceeds going to his own cancer treatment and “supporting families walking the same path.”

In a video, Van Der Beek, 48, can be seen sporting the white-and-blue jersey which bears his character’s name, Moxon, and jersey number (4) on the back.

“By popular demand! My favorite jersey. Maybe it was all fun plays we got [to] run in the football sequences for the away games… but I always loved putting on the varsity whites,” the actor wrote.

“Last year when I released the Blues jersey, I was blown away by the love and support I received from all of you. It has meant more than I can ever express,” he continued. “I hope you enjoy this one as much as the original. For me, every jersey I sign is a magical full-circle moment.”

“Thank you — for the love, the prayers, the support, and for making this jersey mean something far bigger than a movie,” Van Der Beek added. “Endlessly grateful for all of you.”

While most famous for playing TV’s Dawson Leery, Van Der Beek also achieved big screen success as backup quarterback Jonathan “Mox” Moxon in Varsity Blues, which also starred the late Paul Walker, Jon Voight and Scott Caan.

As well as honoring his movie past, Van Der Beek announced earlier this month that he will be selling off Dawson’s Creek memorabilia to help pay for his cancer treatment.

“I’ve been storing these treasures for years, waiting for the right time to do something with them, and with all of the recent unexpected twists and turns life has presented recently, it’s clear that the time is now,” Van Der Beek told People earlier this month. “While I have some nostalgia tugging at me as I part with these items, it feels good to be able to offer them through Propstore’s auction to share with those who have supported my work over the years.”

Items going up for sale include the necklace Dawson gifted Joey Potter (Katie Holmes) for prom, which is expected to fetch anything between $26,4000 and $52,800, and the outfit Dawson wore in the pilot episode, which is expected to sell for up to $4,000.

Van Der Beek first shared he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in November 2024.

“I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family. There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good,” he said at the time.
