Princess Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, shared an adorable new photo of his son on Valentine’s Day.
James, 37, shared a throwback snap of his son, Inigo, cuddling one of his dogs in an Instagram post published Friday, February 14.
“How it started… Valentines 2024. How it’s going… Valentines 2025. Pure Love,” James captioned the post alongside a heart emoji.
In the first photo, taken in February 2024, Inigo (who was around 5 months at the time) can be seen holding the dog’s paw. In the second photo, Inigo, who is now 17 months, cuddles the dog.
James and his wife, Alizee Thevenet, welcomed Inigo on September 21, 2023.
Inigo is the nephew to James’ older sister Kate and her husband, Prince William.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine in September 2024, James revealed that his son wore hand-me-down clothes from William and Kate’s kids.
“He’s fortunate to have older cousins who can now pick him up and show him things, and as he grows up, they’ll be able to look out for him. There’s definitely an element of curiosity [about] a baby that they have,” James said.
It’s not clear which of James’ dogs feature in the photo. According to his Instagram bio, he has six dogs named Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, Nala and Isla. The dogs feature heavily on James’ social media, and he even published a book detailing his relationship with his late dog, Ella, titled Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life.
“Meet Ella traces the extraordinary bond between James and his beloved first pup, Ella.
