Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson may not have a long engagement.
“Bettina is so happy she’s engaged to Don, and they’re already starting to plan the wedding,” a source exclusively tells Luxury Handbag Shopping. “She has wanted this from day one and knew he was her person. She loves how he has made her part of his kids’ lives and is such a good dad.”
Trump, 47, announced his engagement to Anderson, 39, during a holiday party at the White House on December 15. Video footage of the event showed Trump thanking Anderson “for that one word — yes” as he addressed party guests.
“She said ‘yes,’ so that’s a big win for the end of the year,” Don Jr., who attended the gathering alongside his father, President Donald Trump, continued.
Meanwhile, Anderson called it “the most unforgettable weekend of my life,” adding that she “[gets] to marry the love of my life. I feel just like the luckiest girl in the world.”
The source tells Us that Don Jr. “had planned to ask her to marry him” and told his father and siblings, which include brothers Eric, 41, and Barron, 19, and sisters Ivanka, 44, and Tiffany, 32.
“Ivanka has become close with Bettina and really encouraged it. They have bonded on many of their family trips and gotten to be close friends,” the insider continues.
As for when Don Jr. and Anderson plan on tying the knot, the source says, “The wedding will be around Don and his dad’s busy schedule. They want [Donald’s wife, first lady Melania Trump] and Donald to be there and have time to enjoy it.”
“Bettina has been taking such good care of herself by working out, getting facials, massages and just overall feeling healthy,” the insider continues. “So she feels good about walking down the aisle sooner than later.”
Melania, 55, and Ivanka have also helped Anderson find a new fashion sense ahead of the nuptials.
“She’s really started to focus on fashion more since dating Don and takes Melania and Ivanka’s lead when it comes to style,” the insider reveals. “She uses many stylists for events and already has begun speaking to them about her wedding dress and all the dresses she will wear for the big day.”
The source adds, “Her ring is stunning and she can’t stop smiling and is beaming. Don is her dream man, and the whole family has been so welcoming to her.”
Don Jr.’s family isn’t the only group that approves of the relationship. A second source close to the businessman tells Us that his “small inner circle of close friends have all really come to like Bettina, think they’re a good match and have become very protective of her.”
A third insider adds that the engagement was a surprise to friends outside of his innermost circle.
“He really kept it under wraps,” the insider shares. “Don Jr. has felt from day one that Bettina is The One. Like, head over heels, take your breath away type of feeling.”

Don Jr. and Anderson were first linked in late 2024. The pair later made their red carpet debut at a pre-Super Bowl party in February.
Prior to his relationship with Anderson, Don Jr. was married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018. The exes share kids Kai, 18, Donald III, 16, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11.
Don Jr. was also previously linked to former Fox News cohost Kimberly Guilfoyle. The pair got engaged in 2020 after two years of dating, but they later split in 2024.
Meanwhile, Anderson reportedly dated Beau Wrigley Jr., the heir to the Wrigley gum fortune, in 2017.
