Phaedra Parks proved she’s just like Us after confirming she has a hilarious celebrity crush.
“I love Jimmy Kimmel like a fat girl loves cake,” Parks, 51, exclusively shared in the latest issue of Luxury Handbag Shopping. “Ooh, I love some Jimmy Kimmel. I know he’s a Scorpio. I have always watched him. He’s so hilarious. But he also has an emotional side and is so kind.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star appreciates the fact that the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host gives musicians opportunities and believes “he’s a superhero.”
Before she gets the opportunity to sit down and unwind with Kimmel, Parks can often be found at the grocery store picking up family essentials. While partnering with Silk, Parks gave a glimpse into her relatable food and shopping habits.

Parks: Well, we just had a snowstorm so I made salmon, grits, English peas and biscuits. That was so good.

Parks: Boiled eggs, of course.

Parks: Frosted Flakes and Chex cereal.

Parks: I waited in line for something at Trader Joe’s. I mean, I love Trader Joe’s. They have the best flowers.
Us: What is one bad habit you are currently trying to break?
Parks: Not sleeping enough. I’m really a workaholic. If I can make myself settle down and go to sleep, that would be the best thing that I could ever do.
Us: On average, how many hours of sleep do you get per night?
Parks: Maybe four and a half, five.
Us: What’s your favorite song to sing in the shower and why?
Parks: I know this is going to sound crazy, but I usually talk on the phone in the shower. I’m not singing. I’m trying to close another deal or instruct my staff on what to do. I don’t have time for singing. I’m working.
Us: What is your family nickname?
Parks: Spider. My grandfather, who’s no longer with us, used to call me Spider because I was tiny and skinny [and had] little long legs and little long fingers. So he used to call me Spider.
Us: What is the last thing you ordered online?
Parks: Oh, my God. I am an Amazon nut. Rug adhesives just a few hours ago.
Us: Is there a TV show, movie or podcast that is guaranteed to make you laugh?
Parks: I don’t really watch a lot of comedy, but anything [with] Jamie Foxx always makes me laugh. He is hilarious. He’s just a super talent as well.
Us: What is the last thing you streamed or watched?
Parks: Tulsa King. I love this show. So well done. So good. I need it to come back on.
