Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna made a red carpet appearance with his son, Dimitri, nearly two decades after they last attended an event together.
Hamlin, 73, celebrated the season 2 premiere of Anne Rice‘s Mayfair Witches in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 5, with wife Rinna, 61, and son Dimitri, 44, by his side. Rinna rocked a red asymmetric Balenciaga dress while Hamlin and Dimitri — who has worked as a model, actor and recently appeared in a video for Hamlin’s food venture, Harry’s Famous Sauce, alongside his half-sisters — matched in black blazers.
The trio were last photographed at an event together in 2006 when they attended the launch of Roberto Cavalli Vodka. Hamlin shares Dimitri with his ex Ursula Andress, whom he met while they worked on Clash of the Titans. The former couple welcomed Dimitri in 1980 before calling it quits three years later.
Rinna — who shares daughters Delilah Belle, 26, and Amelia Gray, 23, with Hamlin — previously opened up about her husband’s past relationship.
“He was with Ursula Andress at the time and they had a child, she lived here. They were doing Clash of the Titans together,” Rinna said during a 2020 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills about her home with Hamlin. “He said she called him and said, ‘Harry, come to my room.’ And so he did, at 28 years old, he went in and she got pregnant that night. And that was that, at 44. First time.”
Hamlin and Rinna originally met in 1992 when they were both in other relationships. They reconnected later that year after they were both single and tied the knot in 1997.
“Harry had been married twice before me, so Harry wasn’t very excited to get married again. Like, not at all. Zero,” Rinna explained on Live With Kelly and Ryan in 2017. “It took five years, which is kind of a long time when you’re waiting for it. I’d never been married.”
She continued: “So, long story short, we’re at dinner up in Canada. We’re just sitting at dinner and all of the sudden he just, like, out of the blue says, ‘I think we should get married, what do you think?’ That’s how romantic it was. Of course, I said yes, but I made him, afterward in the bathroom, I said you have to get down on your knee and propose for real, for real.”
Earlier this year, Hamlin and Rinna reflected on their long-lasting marriage.
“Now that we’re in an empty nest and going off in different directions for work, we’ll have to figure that out. We take our relationship moment to moment. We don’t have expectations about where we should be in five years,” Hamlin exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in February as Rinna added, “It’s about finding the balance. No matter what we have going on, we make our marriage the priority. Everything else comes after that.”
