Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's April 2009 wedding was a magical day for the power couple, but for two of their former bodyguards, it marks the day they made a decision that ended up landing them in jail.
Miguel Solis and Alexander Rivas were found guilty of attempted murder in Costa Rica after firing shots at photographers trying to sneak some shots of the power couple's nuptials, multiple outlets are reporting. The third man charged with the incident was acquitted when the verdict was rendered on Nov. 15.
According to Britain's Sky News, Solis and Rivas will each face five years in jail and have been ordered to pay $10,000 each in restitution to the photographers.
Bundchen has said she had no knowledge of the shooting at the time and never even heard shots being fired.
Dating since December 2006, the famed Brazilian supermodel, 33, and the New England Patriots quarterback, 36, are one of the world's top earning power couples. They now have two children, Benjamin, 4, and Vivian, 11 months.
