George Clooney says that he and wife Amal Clooney never fight.

George, 63, spoke about his marriage on the Monday, April 21, edition of CBS Mornings, reminding anchor Gayle King that he’d previously told her that he and Amal, 47, “never had an argument. We still haven’t. We’re trying to find something to fight about.”

Offering an explanation, he theorized: “I think because I started so late with Amal.”

George and Amal tied the knot in September 2014 and share 7-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.

“I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman, and I feel as if I hit the jackpot,” George said Monday. “There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world.”

As for their children, “They’ve got a school [in New York City] that they like and are having fun at,” he added. “You know, Amal and I are having a really great time in life. … Our kids are 7, about to be 8, which is a pretty great age. They’re really curious and funny. And every parent thinks their kids are great, and our kids are funny. They make us laugh.”

George’s Broadway play, Good Night, and Good Luck, officially opened at the Winter Garden Theatre earlier this month. George not only stars as Edward R. Murrow, but he also wrote the script based on the 2005 movie of the same name. He dyed his signature silver hair a dark brown for the stage role.

“Oh, it’s not good. It’s not good,” he joked of his new ‘do. “I’m not used to it. You never get used to it. I started getting gray when I was 25. So I’ve been gray most of my life. So it’s not my favorite look, and my wife? She thinks it’s funny.”

So do Alexander and Ella.

“They laugh at it, because nothing makes you look older than being 63 and dyeing your hair,” he said.

Amal skipped the official opening of Good Night, and Good Luck, with George explaining to reporters on the red carpet that she was “with the kids.”

A source exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in March that the couple were equally excited about living in New York.

“George and Amal have been loving being in NYC,” the insider told Us at the time. “They usually don’t spend that much time in the city so they have a lot of people they have been seeing. They both go to work during the day, and the twins are here with them too.”

Per the insider, George and the human rights lawyer have also “hosted a few dinner parties for friends” while in the city.

“They are very much a couple who enjoys more private date nights,” the source added.
