David Hasselhoff made headlines earlier this week when he was spotted in a wheelchair at two separate airports.

“He was seen in a wheelchair because he’s having a knee replacement surgery next week,” Hasselhoff’s rep exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping on Wednesday, May 7, after his alleged frail appearance raised eyebrows.

Hasselhoff, 72, was seen being pushed in a wheelchair on Monday, May 5, alongside airport attendants in both Cancun, Mexico, and upon his return to Los Angeles, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

The pictures showed Hasselhoff in what appeared to be a somewhat frail state, which caused some fans to worry about his health. The wheelchair incident also came just two months after Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff died at age 62, bringing the Baywatch alum and his family back into the spotlight.
