The remaining dates of D4vd’s U.S. tour have reportedly been canceled amid the homicide investigation stemming from a dead body found inside a car registered to the singer last week.

D4vd’s team made the decision on Thursday, September 18, to cancel the final two stops on his Withered Tour — San Francisco on Friday, September 19, and Los Angeles on Saturday, September 20 — sources told TMZ on Friday.

The “Romantic Homicide” singer, 20, was also scheduled to appear at an event at the Grammy Museum on September 24, but that has reportedly been canceled as well. The event is no longer listed on the museum’s website.

The cancellations come after D4vd’s concert in Seattle on Tuesday, September 16, was also called off.

Meanwhile, tickets for the European leg of D4vd’s tour, scheduled to begin in Norway on October 1, are still on sale.

Police confirmed to Luxury Handbag Shopping on September 9 that authorities responded to the 1000 block of Mansfield Avenue in Hollywood the day prior for “a foul odor coming from a vehicle at a tow yard.” Detectives responded to the scene and found possible human remains inside a Tesla. Multiple outlets reported that the vehicle was registered to in Hempstead, Texas, to David Anthony Burke, a.k.a. D4vd.

In a statement to NBC News, a spokesperson for D4vd said he “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

D4vd has not been named a suspect in the case and has not been charged with a crime.

Law enforcement confirmed to NBC Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 17, that the body had been identified as Celeste Rivas, a 15-year-old girl who was first reported missing in April 2024.

Rivas’ mother told TMZ this week that her daughter had a boyfriend named David. Additionally, she revealed that Rivas had a tattoo that read, “Shhhh…” on her right index finger in red ink. D4vd has the same tattoo in black ink, also on his right index finger. He was first spotted with the ink, which is a design first popularized by Rihanna in 2008, in September 2024.

Authorities also confirmed on Wednesday that a house was searched in connection with the investigation. It was not immediately clear how the Hollywood Hills, California, house is connected to the death investigation. TMZ reported that authorities left the home with a computer and several evidence bags.

While D4vd does not own the home, he had been staying there, according to KABC Los Angeles.

Amid the investigation, one of D4vd’s collaborators, Kali Uchis, came under fire for working with the singer on their track “Crashing,” which was released as part of his debut album, Withered, earlier this year.

Uchis, 31, responded to the backlash via Instagram, writing in a comment on September 11, “Not my friend I did a song with him which is currently in the process of being taken down given today’s disturbing news.”
