Corey Feldman denied he accused Corey Haim of sexually assaulting him via a statement made by his legal team to Luxury Handbag Shopping on Friday, December 19. His lawyers claimed that the molestation comments were a “sensationalized mischaracterization of the statements made in the film” and clarified that Feldman said that Haim made an advance but did not assault Feldman.
“Mr. Feldman’s statement was that during the filming of The Lost Boys Mr. Haim sought to ‘mess around’ with Mr. Feldman, however, Mr. Feldman did not reciprocate his advances and contacted another party on behalf of Mr. Haim,” the statement read
It continued, “Mr. Feldman’s statement that Mr. Haim ‘molested’ him was in reference to Mr. Haim’s advances, and not physical molestation. The film and any other current articles on this issue distort the truth and context of Mr. Feldman’s words and story. Mr. Feldman makes no claim that Corey Haim physically ‘molested’ him.”

Corey Feldman claimed that he was sexually assaulted by his The Lost Boys costar Corey Haim.
“When we did Lost Boys, Corey said to me, ‘Hey man, let’s mess around,’” Feldman, 54, alleged in his Corey Feldman vs. the World documentary. “I said, ‘What do you mean?’”
According to Feldman, Haim said that was “what guys in the business do.”
“You know, you suck each other’s d***, or you f*** around, you do this stuff,’” Feldman claimed of Haim’s alleged reasoning. “I said, ‘What are you talking about?’ And he said, ‘Well, Charlie [Sheen] told me it was OK.’” (Feldman previously accused Sheen, now 60, of sexually assaulting Haim when they made 1986’s Lucas. Sheen vehemently denied the allegations at the time.)
Feldman and Haim costarred in 1987’s The Lost Boys. Haim, who died 23 years later in 2010 at the age of 38, never publicly addressed the accusations. Luxury Handbag Shopping has reached out to Haim’s estate for comment.
“I called [Haim] and said, ‘Come over.’ But you know, when you have got somebody that’s trying to come onto you sexually, and you don’t want that, and you are a kid, and you are scared,” Feldman said in the doc. “You do whatever you can to stop it from happening, and that’s what was happening. I was being molested by Corey Haim. Truth be told.”
Haim’s mother, Judy, denied Feldman’s allegations in an interview with TMZ on Thursday, December 18.
“Corey Feldman always talks about sex and blames my kid for things that he is not here to defend himself about,” she told the outlet.
Feldman has previously been vocal about the alleged abuse he suffered as a child star, claiming in his My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys documentary that he and Haim were both victims of sexual assault.
“What we did is line up several witnesses who had all heard firsthand from the victim himself,” Feldman told Entertainment Weekly in 2020 of making My Truth. “These are firsthand witnesses who got the story directly from the victim before he died. … We think we’ve done a really good job of being even-handed in showing what the argument is and what both sides have to say, but also showing the weaknesses in their argument. I think we’ve done a good job of covering the scope, and I think in doing so it’s really going to draw people to the conclusion that what we’re saying is true.”
Feldman further told the outlet that he hoped his film helped advocate for other victims of sexual assault.
“What I really care about the most is having #KidsToo become a movement as well known and as utilized as #MeToo, so we can help give more victims the courage to let their voices be heard and bring their stories forward,” Feldman said. “What I would like to see happen is law reforms to continue across the country, state by state, until we abolish the statute of limitations.”
He continued, “I think we’ve really started a movement here. That’s what makes me proud. That’s what makes me feel like I’ve actually accomplished something in my life.”
In Corey Feldman vs. the World, specifically, director Marcie Hume told Variety on Wednesday, December 17, that the actor “wanted to tell his truth.”
“It was an incredibly emotional moment where Corey was almost reliving what that was like to live in this hyper-sexualized environment as child actors in Hollywood,” Hume told Variety of interviewing Feldman. “Corey has many, many layers that contradict one another. Part of what emerged with this film is opening up as many questions as possible and opening up the view of Corey.”
