Christopher Schwarzenegger made a rare public appearance when he was seen joining his family for Easter brunch.
On Sunday, April 20, Christopher, 27, was photographed arriving for lunch at Restoration Hardware in Los Angeles. He was joined by brother Patrick Schwarzenegger, Patrick’s fiancée, Abby Champion, sisters Katherine Schwarzenegger and Christina Schwarzenegger, Katherine’s husband, Chris Pratt, and mom, Maria Shriver.
Christopher wore a navy long sleeve shirt along with khaki pants and white sneakers for the family outing.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and his ex-wife Shriver, 69, share kids Christopher, Patrick, 31, Katherine, 35, and Christina, 33. Arnold, 77, also is the father to Joseph Baena, 27, whom he shares with the family’s former housekeeper, Mildred “Patty” Baena.
The public outing comes just days after Katherine shared another rare photo with Christopher alongside Christina and Patrick for National Sibling Day.
“My favorites forever and always,” Katherine captioned the photo via Instagram.
While several of his siblings have decided to follow in their parents’ footsteps, Christopher has decided to keep out of the spotlight. Despite not being in the public eye, his parents have still shared their praises for him on social media.
In 2020, Christopher graduated from the University of Michigan and his dad took to Instagram to congratulate him.
“Christopher, you are a champion and I love you,” Arnold wrote in the caption. “I know your graduation from Michigan wasn’t the big celebration you dreamed about for years, but walking across a stage isn’t what makes me so proud of you: it’s your compassion, your hard work, your vision, your critical thinking, and your selflessness that make me burst with pride. I can’t wait to watch you keep climbing and succeeding.”
Although Shriver and Arnold divorced in 2011 due to Arnold’s infidelity, the twosome have opened up about still being successful coparents.
“We are very proud of the way we raised our kids,” Arnold told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2023. “Even though we had this drama, we did Easter together, Mother’s Day together, the Christmases together, all birthdays — everything together. If there’s Oscars for how to handle divorce, Maria and I should get it for having the least amount of impact on the kids.”
In March, Shriver shared that her and Arnold have a “great relationship now” and there will always be “love” for him.
“He’s the father of my children. We’re grandparents together and I don’t wanna have hate,” she shared in an interview. “I don’t wanna have anger in my body towards another person. I don’t want that in my life at all.”
Shriver and Arnold proved they could still be cordial with each other by both supporting Patrick at the season 3 premiere of The White Lotus in February. The twosome both posed with their son on the red carpet separately.
