The Real Housewives of Dubai alum Chanel Ayan has a pitch for Shep Rose’s next girlfriend — and the suggestion might be a bit too close for comfort.
“What is going on with all the Bravo men? Everybody is single,” Chanel, 47, asked during a recent interview for the network’s social media account during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas. “Do you know Paige [DeSorbo]? You should date Paige, she’s very pretty.”
Shep, 45, revealed that “of course” he knows Paige, 33.
“Are you crazy?” Shep exclaimed, prompting The Valley’s Tom Schwartz to call the idea “a kamikaze mission.”
Paige dated Shep’s longtime friend and Southern Charm costar, Craig Conover, for three years until their 2024 breakup.
“No,” Shep added during the BravoCon red carpet interview. “She dated my best friend, [but] by the way, she wouldn’t have me or she couldn’t deal with my ass.”
Chanel was completely surprised by Shep and Paige’s history, responding, “Oh, wow, I didn’t know that.”
Elsewhere at BravoCon, Shep revealed just how much he disliked former Summer House star Paige.
“She and Craig made millions of dollars on reality TV’s back. And then she broke up with him on her podcast,” Shep said in footage published by Page Six earlier this week, alleging their relationship was “a sham the whole time.”
Shep also wondered how many “more followers” Paige got following the breakup.
While Bravo had no comment about the footage, Shep also chose to “kill” Paige during a Watch What Happens Live game of “Shag, Marry, Kill.”
Both Paige and Craig, 36, have since reacted to Shep’s now-viral rant.
“My assistant told me about it this morning,” Craig said on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live on Wednesday, November 19. “I purposely said, ‘I don’t want to see it.’ I’m aware of it, like, contextually. But I wasn’t there. I think I’m bummed because it brought me and Paige’s name into it.”
He continued, “It looks like that was a big topic, but in reality, like, I don’t know, I had nothing but nice things to say about her, and it had nothing to do with us.”
As for Paige, she responded to a fan account’s Instagram commentary of the tirade.
“I can lend him some if he needs it?” Paige replied, referring to Shep’s claims that her social media following grew in light of the split.
Both Paige and Craig have also moved on from one another. Luxury Handbag Shopping exclusively confirmed in July that Paige recently started seeing Joe D’Amelio.
“Paige has been quietly dating Joe D’Amelio for a while now, and things between them are going really well,” a source exclusively told Us. “It took a few months for Paige to warm up to being in another relationship again, but she moved on after Craig and is genuinely happy.”
The insider added, “She’s in a totally different headspace now. Joe is a breath of fresh air for her. He’s calm, grounded and much more low-key, which is exactly what Paige needed.”
Craig, for his part, briefly dated Natalie Buffett before they went their separate ways this summer.
“I was seeing a really, really nice girl,” Craig said on “The Toast” podcast in June. “I just wasn’t ready to date but I didn’t know that. There’s no guidebook for this.”
