Cameron Diaz and her husband, Benji Madden, enjoyed a rare date night out and about.
The couple were all smiles while attending Michael Rubin’s Reform Alliance Casino Night in New Jersey on Saturday, September 13.
Diaz, 53, and Madden, 46, rocked matching black tailored jackets. The actress styled her look with a black purse while the musician opted for a black baseball cap.
In one photo, Diaz was seen placing a hand on Madden’s chest, while in another image, she appeared to try her hand at poker as he watched. Prior to Saturday’s outing, the pair were last seen together in public in August 2024.
Luxury Handbag Shopping broke the news in 2014 that Diaz and Madden were dating. The next year, the duo tied the knot in Beverly Hills.
“[Marriage] was the biggest thing I’ve done in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways,” Diaz told Harper’s Bazaar in May 2016. “It’s pretty awesome. I didn’t think it was something I’d do, and I don’t know if I’d have done it if I hadn’t met my husband. It was a surprise.”
Diaz and Madden went on to expand their family by welcoming daughter Raddix, which the couple announced via social media in 2020.
“We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family,” the joint post read. “She is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD.”
Two years later, a source exclusively told Us that the duo were considering adding more to their brood. In 2024, Diaz and Madden confirmed they had secretly welcomed their second child.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden❤️🙏,” they wrote in a joint Instagram statement at the time. “He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here! … He’s a really cute [baby]. We are feeling so blessed and grateful.”
In a January Us cover story, a source exclusively shared that Diaz and Madden are open to more children — but content with their family of four for now. A separate insider added, “They’re incredibly happy with their family.”
When it comes to Diaz and Madden’s relationship, the first source shared that the pair are a “team.” The insider added, “They’re always lifting each other up and prioritizing each other’s happiness.”
