Brooklyn Beckham gushed about the support of his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, amid a feud with his famous family.
In a video reposted to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 6, Brooklyn, 26, credited Nicola, 30, with inspiring his line of hot sauces, Cloud 23.
“Three years ago, I was kind of figuring out what I wanted to do,” Brooklyn said on a recent episode of the “Beyond the Board” podcast. “I was trying a bunch of things out. And then one night, like really late, me and my wife were having a bottle of wine in our kitchen really late at night. My wife was like, ‘You love hot sauce. You love design. Why don’t you make a hot sauce?’”
Brooklyn continued, “I didn’t really think much about it. And then I ordered a bunch of stuff. I watched a quick video on how to make hot sauce, and I made it … The next day I woke up, I tried it again. I was like, ‘Actually, I kinda want to try and do something with this. I had so much fun doing it.”
Cloud 23 launched in October 2024 and comes in two flavors: Hot Habanero and Sweet Jalapeño.
Brooklyn has turned his focus to his business as tensions within the Beckham family continue to grow.
Things reached a fever pitch over the weekend, when Brooklyn was noticeably absent from his father David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration.
A source exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping that Brooklyn and Nicola — who got married in April 2022 — have demanded “special treatment” from David and his wife, Victoria Beckham, which stems from resentment toward Kim Turnbull, the girlfriend of Brooklyn’s younger brother, Romeo Beckham.
“David and Victoria are over it,” the source said. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”
The source confirmed that Brooklyn and Nicola requested a “separate meet-up” with David surrounding his birthday, but the family turned down their suggestion.
“David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family and the family does things a certain way,” the source explained. “But Brooklyn isn’t playing it like that, and everything is a drama.”
The source added, “They just tell the whole family there’s a party, ‘Here’s the time, here’s the date.’ It’s not that complicated. Everyone else seems OK with it.”
David’s lavish birthday party was attended by Victoria, 51, Romeo, 22, Kim, 24, and the Beckhams’ two youngest kids: son Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13.
