Brittany Mahomes took a stroll down memory lane while celebrating her and Patrick Mahomes’ fourth wedding anniversary.
“Still reminiscing on one of the best days of my life,” Brittany, 30, wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, March 19, alongside a photo from her and Patrick’s wedding day.
In a subsequent post, Brittany gushed about how much she adores the life she and Patrick, also 30, have made together.
“Growing with you, learning with you, inspiring with you, making babies with you, building this amazing life we have with you,” she captioned a collage of the couple’s sweet moments. “All of it has been the best years of my life! I love you @patrickmahomes forever & ever. Here’s to many more years and memories.”
Patrick, for his part, also celebrated the milestone with a post of his own.
“My Day 1 ❤️,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback wrote via Instagram on Thursday alongside a throwback snap of him and Brittany when they were teens. “Happy Anniversary!”
Patrick and Brittany were high school sweethearts before getting engaged in September 2020. They tied the knot less than two years later in Hawaii. The couple share three children: daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden Raye, 14 months, as well as son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 3.
Brittany has been by Patrick’s side since he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. The athlete has shared his appreciation for Brittany’s support all these years.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” Patrick said on a May 2024 episode of the “Impaulsive” podcast. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and [making] it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that. [She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] makes it a lot easier.”
The NFL player continued, “I mean, when you get to come home and your best friend’s there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time, and she pushes me to be great and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
Earlier this year, Brittany was featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s “WAGs Issue” and opened up about what it’s like to be the partner of an NFL player.
“I think being the significant other to an NFL player is an incredibly hard role, and we take on a lot of important stuff behind the scenes that people don’t get to see,” she told the magazine in February. “We also get to enjoy life and do things that we love, too.”
