The cause of death of Glee star Becca Tobin's boyfriend, Matt Bendik, has yet to be determined, even after an autopsy was conducted, a spokesman for the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office tells Philly.com.
As previously reported, Bendik was found dead in his Philadelphia hotel by a hotel housekeeper on July 10.
The spokesman said in an email to Philly.com the autopsy did not immediately establish a clear cause of the 35-year-old nightclub entrepreneur's death, adding, however, no evidence of trauma was found.
The Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting additional studies, "as is the usual procedure in evaluating a sudden, unexpected death," the spokesperson concluded.
A source close to the late entrepreneur tells Luxury Handbag Shopping that friends and family are "baffled" over his passing and completely "shocked." A second source tells Us the DBA managing partner had his act together and "didn't do drugs" and "only casually" drank alcohol. The insider adds, "It is unbelievable. None of us knows what it could be. He was a guy that loved life and loved living."
Philadelphia police tell Luxury Handbag Shopping there are "no signs of foul play" at this point.
