Baby of the Year is officially back for 2025 — and it’s cuter than ever! Presented by actress, entrepreneur and longtime Baby2Baby Board Member Jessica Alba, this nationwide Colossal competition rallies communities across the country to champion their favorite baby in support of Baby2Baby and their mission to provide basic essentials to over one million children in need across the country every year. Paris Hilton and Kelly Rowland are also joining Alba, 44, in supporting Baby of the Year and helping spread the word about Baby2Baby’s incredible mission.
Presented by Alba, this year’s competition, open to babies ages 0–24 months, is a nationwide fundraiser run tournament-style. Contestants face off in online rounds, with fans voting daily to push their favorite babies closer to the crown. Everyone is allowed one free vote every 24 hours, with additional votes available through donations that benefit Baby2Baby.
The grand prize is a $25,000 cash award, perfect for starting a college fund and a feature in a Variety magazine advertorial. Last year’s winner, Sloane Maya, captured hearts nationwide and went on to enjoy a whirlwind of opportunities: a professional photo shoot, an appearance on Good Morning America, features in several magazine ads and, of course, the $25,000 prize.

Organizers call the event a “do-good, feel-good” campaign, merging fun with impact. As Colossal, the fundraising platform behind the competition, describes it, Baby of the Year highlights how even the smallest participants can inspire meaningful change.
Last year’s debut of Baby of the Year proved a major success, resulting in a $24 million grant to Baby2Baby supporting the organization’s work. In the last 14 years, Baby2Baby has distributed more than half a billion items to children in need.
