World-renowned astrologer Susan Miller gave Us some exclusive insight into what Scorpios can expect this year.
Pete Davidson (born November 16, 1993) has a stellium — multiple planets located closely in the same zodiac sign — in his chart, which bodes well for a long career. “He’s a hard worker,” Miller revealed in the latest issue of Luxury Handbag Shopping, adding that the comedian has “all the right natal elements for success,” including being born with Jupiter conjunct Pluto. “He can make so much money.”
Fortune also favors SZA (November 8, 1989), who was born “on a very lucky day” when the moon, Pluto — her ruler — and Jupiter formed a grand trine. “Opportunity will keep coming to her,” Miller told Us. With her moon in Pisces and sextile planets in Capricorn, the “Saturn” singer is financially savvy, too. “She’s smart about investing.”
Fellow Scorpio Leonardo DiCaprio (November 11, 1974) has a lot to look forward to with his sign taking the spotlight. “Saturn is in the perfect spot for him to make a blockbuster,” Miller explained. Born with this planet — known for discipline — in his 10th house, the actor is always working diligently on his next project. “He’s very serious about putting in a top performance.”

What Scorpios Are Really Like
Known as the “sexy sign,” those born between October 23 and November 21 are “deeply emotional and compassionate,” according to Miller, who noted that they “tend to be very private.” Scorpios, represented by the scorpion, also lean into their ability to evolve. “Most have three chapters to their life and transform themselves into different roles,” Miller told Us, adding that it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to pull a fast one on a Scorpio. “You can never lie to them — they’ll see right through you.”
Work and Career
Prepare to reflect deeply on your professional future when Mars goes into retrograde December 6 through February 23. “Mars teaches you how to compete, but when he’s in retrograde, he’s asleep at the wheel,” Miller shared, noting that this lull is a great time to “consider what worked, what didn’t work and what’s next.” Her advice for Scorpios, who can expect a much-needed reprieve between February and April of next year? “Don’t just respond to opportunities — create them.”
Relationships
It’s time to make some serious decisions when it involves romance. With Saturn in the House of Love and Children, Scorpios are “being more discerning about who they go out with,” Miller told Us. “No more dating someone you know in your heart is never going to be marriage material.” Those in relationships may hit a roadblock if their partner is traveling — but by February 26 (16 months from now), they’ll be all yours again: This long-distance love “is just temporary,” she said.
What to Watch For
In the mood for change? You’re not the only one. With Uranus at the bottom of the chart, Scorpios are seeking new beginnings. “Many of them have moved, and if they haven’t yet, they are planning to,” the astrologer claimed. Those looking for a change of scene should consider the beginning of the new year — “January and February will be the time to travel” — and don’t feel guilty about pursuing a fresh start: “It’s good for the soul.”

Love Lowdown
It was written in the stars that Nick Lachey (November 9, 1973) and Vanessa Lachey (November 9, 1980 ) were meant to be: The couple share the same birthday, the same element — water — and both have stelliums in their charts, which makes them successful in their own rights. “They have shared goals,” Miller told Us. “Both are in a period of great flourishing and blooming of their own creativity.” The Lacheys, who cohost Netflix’s Love Is Blind, are also supportive of each other: “There’s no competition,” she added. “They’re both going to do well in their careers.”
