Armie Hammer is getting his hands wet somewhere new: the mixmaster.
The J. Edgar star, 25, and his wife Elizabeth Chambers are opening a bakery in San Antonio, Texas with an official launch party Nov. 28. The couple's sweet new operation, called Bird Bakery, will serve tasty treats like cupcakes, cookies, tiramisu, mini pies, lemon bars, and local Cuvee teas and coffee.
The actor's model and TV journalist wife Chambers, 29, told E! News, "San Antonio was the perfect place. I was born there. Everyone knows us and the people are so sweet." Chambers also told E! Bird Bakery will be somewhat of a family operation, as the recipes are inherited from her grandmother, with minor alterations.
"It's nice to have something you can put your hands on and create," the baker added. So what's Hammer doing while his wife's in the kitchen kneading and frosting?
He's working hard as the "taster." Laughing, Chambers also told E!, "[Hammer] said last night, 'If I have to eat one more cupcake for breakfast…"
