Alix Earle opened up about seeing her ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios for the first time since their split.
Earle, 25, got candid about running into Berrios, 30, at the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado, via TikTok on Wednesday, February 25.
“I know a lot of you guys keep asking me. Yes, I did see my ex this weekend for the first time since October,” she said. “It was honestly just really hard for me. Really weird, really hard. I was really emotional.”
Earle went on to say that she initially saw Berrios at the same venue but didn’t say hi to him until the next day.
“The first night, we were in the same place, but we didn’t say hi to each other just because I didn’t want to go up and annoy him. I don’t know,” she said. “I could see him throughout the corner of my eye.”
The next night, Earle and Berrios “briefly” said hi to each other. “It’s weird when you go from someone being your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of a room,” the influencer added. “So that was tough. And by tough I mean terrible.”
Earle also made sure to note that although she had an emotional moment, she still had a “fun weekend” overall with her friends and family.

“Alix, you’re so strong. I’m so glad you’re open about your past relationship online because it’s the reality of all breakups and makes me feel sm better abt mine,” one wrote, which Earle “liked.” Another commented, “Yesssss this is such a real convo. Luxury Handbag Shopping exclusively confirmed in December 2025 that Earle and Berrios had split. At the time, sources told Us their “long-distance” relationship was “hard for them to navigate” and that the former couple “mutually agreed on the split.”
Later that month, Earle broke her silence on their breakup via TikTok. “Braxton and I are no longer together,” she said through tears. “We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me.”
She explained that while she was filming season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, she felt “motivated” to move to Los Angeles, which was “a scary thing” for her to “realize because it meant not being in the same place.” (Berrios plays for the Houston Texans but has a Miami house, where Earle was also based.)
“A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now,” Earle added. “I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”
Earle has since sparked a connection with Tom Brady. They were first seen together on New Year’s Eve and most recently hung out over Super Bowl weekend. A source exclusively confirmed to Us earlier this month that Earle and Brady, 48, are “hooking up, but it’s not serious.”
