Addison Rae’s father Monty Lopez allegedly exposed himself at a Walgreens before his arrest.
According to police records obtained by Luxury Handbag Shopping on Wednesday, February 25, Lopez, 50, was arrested for obscenity. The alleged crime occurred on July 31, 2024, at a Walgreens in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Lopez was arrested nearly a year later after the alleged incident for indecent exposure. Lopez was accused of “exposing his genitals, pubic hair, in a public place or place open to public view, or in any prison or jail, with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appealed to the prurient interest or was patently offensive” by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Lopez was charged with felony obscenity and a sex crime. His bond was listed as $2,500. Lopez has pleaded not guilty. His next hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 19.

Lopez shares Rae, 25, Enzo, 18, and Lucas, 12, with ex-wife Sheri Easterling. He is also father to daughter Macye Neumeyer, whom he welcomed during a previous relationship.
Easterling and Lopez tied the knot in 2004. They divorced years later, eventually remarrying in 2014 before calling it quits for good in 2022. Rae has been candid about how her dad wasn’t around a lot during the early years of her childhood.
“From about 3 to 6 for me … Dad wasn’t really in my life very much. I’m sure that was personal decisions on your part with Dad,” the “Fame Is A Gun” singer said in a July 2020 installment of “That Was Fun?” with her mother. “You guys, I’m sure, kind of established that, like, ‘Hey, we’re gonna need some space. We need to have our time to figure things out.’”
Following his split from Easterling, Lopez has moved on with Kaitlyn Nicole Robins. The couple wed in Las Vegas in October 2025.

Rae, for her part, has been focused on her music career. The former TikTok star released her self-titled debut album last year. Earlier this year, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammys, a win that ultimately went to Olivia Dean. While Rae didn’t take home the award, Lopez cheered his daughter on during her performance.
“So proud of you @addisonraee,” Lopez wrote via Instagram in February alongside a video of Rae performing at the awards show.
Later that month, Lopez gushed about how proud he was of all his kids’ accomplishments, including Rae’s Grammy recognition and her little brother Enzo making it to the state championships for his high school wrestling team.
“This is a week of my life. I love seeing you in my views, not worried about the likes,” he captioned an Instagram slideshow highlighting his kids’ accomplishments. “God bless. Just support my little ones—that’s everything. ❤️.”
