UPDATE: 9/7/25 at 10 a.m. ET — Abby Hensel’s husband Josh Bowling said that the TikTok account claiming to be his wife and her sister Brittany’s is fake, adding that the family does not wish to speak on their personal lives at this time.

“We’re unsure who exactly runs it,” he said of the fake account in a statement to People on Saturday, September 6. “But I believe [it’s run by] someone who [downloaded] a significant amount of photos from my mother’s [Facebook] account.”

Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have subtly addressed photos showing the sisters carrying a baby car seat.

The twins, 35, uploaded a TikTok video on Saturday, August 30, featuring several paparazzi photographs of Abby and Brittany carrying a car seat for a baby set to Dr. Dre‘s “Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang.”

“Blessed,” the caption read alongside the hashtags “twins,” “sisterhood” and “respect.”

One day before posting the video, Abby and Brittany were spotted out and about, per photos obtained by The Sun on Friday, August 29. The sisters were seen making a stop by the Minnesota school where they teach fifth grade. They kept it casual with their look, wearing a white striped leopard-print tank top with jean shorts and black sandals.

Abby and Brittany held a carrier with a baby inside. The women brought the baby into the school for half an hour, per the outlet. When it was time to leave, Abby and Brittany chatted with a woman outside as they loaded the child in the vehicle.

Abby and Brittany have yet to address reports about their relationship to the child.

The twins rose to fame after appearing in three documentaries, Joined for Life, Joined at Birth and Joined for Life: Abby & Brittany Turn 16 in 2002, 2003 and 2006, respectively. Abby and Brittany are dicephalous conjoined twins, a rare form of partial twinning with two heads side by side on one torso. The sisters share a bloodstream and all organs below the waist. Abby controls their right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the left side of their body.

Back in 2006, Abby and Brittany opened up about their desire to become parents one day.

“Yeah, we’re going to be moms,” Abby said. “We haven’t thought about how being moms is going to work yet.”

In 2012, they starred in their own TLC reality show, Abby & Brittany.

“People have been curious about us since we were born for obvious reasons,” Abby and Brittany said on the show. “But our parents never let us use that as an excuse.”

They continued: “While life as a conjoined twin sometimes has its challenges, we were raised to believe we could do anything we wanted — so we do.”

Last year, news broke that Abby tied the knot with husband Josh Bowling in a private ceremony back in November 2021. Bowling is a United States Army veteran.
