Bethenny Frankel has a special bond with her and ex Jason Hoppy’s daughter, Bryn, often sharing their mother-daughter milestones.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum gave birth to her daughter in May 2010, two years before she and Hoppy split.
After years of a tumultuous custody battle, Frankel was awarded full legal custody of Bryn in 2020. One year later, a judge ruled that the reality TV star no longer needed to pay Hoppy child support.
With the legal drama settled, the Skinnygirl founder has remained focused on raising Bryn.
“There is no perfect child or perfect parent,” Frankel exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in May 2021. “You have to go with your gut, just like in business. You don’t need to crowdsource parenting tips. Moms can be judgmental. And I don’t believe in giving or taking unsolicited advice.”
In April 2025, Frankel announced that she was moving to Florida. A source close to Frankel exclusively told Us that Bryn was one of the major reasons behind the decision.
“Bryn is Bethenny’s top priority, and the decision to move to Florida was all about supporting her,” the insider explained. “The move reflects Bryn’s academic and athletic goals and was made with her physical and emotional well-being front and center.”
