Dancing With the Stars pro Witney Carson is sharing even more wild stories from her latest family vacation in the air.

“On our last leg to Florida, [my son] Jet was crying for a few mins on the plane (It was the middle of the night for him),” Carson, 32, shared via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 27. “[My husband] Carson [McAllister] finally got him to sleep. A woman wearing a mask behind him with little kids tapped him on the shoulder and said, ‘I’d really feel more comfortable if you put a mask on him, he looks sick.’ Carson replied and said, ‘He’s not sick. His cheeks get red when he cries.’”

Although Carson was unaware of the situation at the moment, she had one simple request.

“Mind your business people,” she wrote. “Carson didn’t tell me because he knew I would have lost it on this lady. I’m not going to put a mask on my already screaming two year old after a 30 hour travel day when he’s not sick — Get a grip!!!!”

While the professional dancer wished one passenger was a bit more friendly and understanding of the situation, she also revealed that most of the people her family interacted with during their travels from Australia to Florida were lovely.

“Lots of nice people along our travel days as well but thought I’d give you guys the DRAMA hahaha,” she wrote via a separate Instagram Story. “All in all, I am SO proud [of] my boys. They were traveling champs!!!”

Carson — who shares Leo, 5, and Jet, 2, with McAllister — traveled to Australia to visit her Dancing With the Stars partner Robert Irwin.

During their stay, Carson and her family were able to experience a magical visit to the Australia Zoo and see Irwin’s work up close.

Although the trip was an overall success, traveling had some speed bumps. Over the weekend, Carson recalled a moment when her kids were shamed on a recent flight.

“Question for you guys, and be honest — is it appropriate to ask for a child to be quiet for the entire 13-hour flight?” she wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 25. “[My son] Jet was playing and giggling with me and we were asked to be quiet because a man up in front said he was trying to rest.”

Carson continued, “I totally get if there needs to be a certain time where we need to sleep, but it’s in the middle of the day. I’m a big advocate of, ‘Worry about things that are in your control and put some freaking ear [plugs] in.’ Am I being crazy? I got up and asked [the aircraft employee] if there were certain times on the flight we needed to be quiet and we’d respect that. If not, I don’t expect my children to sit quietly for 13 hours. OK, bye, I’m done.”

Once the ballroom pro was back home in Florida with her family, she found herself with another hurdle to overcome.

As it turns out, her kids were “completely jet lagged,” so the family of four found themselves in the hot tub at 9 p.m.

“[We’re] trying to get on a better schedule, trying to get all of their energy out before bedtime,” she shared via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, “so we can get on a schedule.”
