Fashion influencer Shiran Melamed is already compiling a luxury wardrobe for her 2-year-old daughter, Sofia.
“I’ve started a tradition,” Melamed wrote via TikTok on Wednesday, December 31. “Each year on my daughter’s birthday, I gift her an Hermès bag. By the time she’s 18, she’ll have a collection of 18 iconic pieces.”
She added, “Why does this feel more meaningful than toys?”
The “Styled by Shishi” creator celebrated her baby girl’s 2nd birthday in December 2025.
“How are you TWO already? Sofia, you are the happy ending I never even dared to dream of,” Melamed, who shares her daughter and three older sons with her husband, wrote via Instagram. “I needed you more than you will ever need me. These two years have been the most beautiful chapter of my life. You came into our world and filled it with a joy so deep, it feels like my heart grew just to hold it all.”
Melamed continued, “Your three older brothers adore you with a love so pure and fierce watching them fall in love with you has been a gift in itself. We thank God every day for you, our miracle baby, our light, our deepest happiness.”
To celebrate, Melamed purchased a miniature Hermès Kelly handbag in bubblegum pink for her daughter. (While Hermès purses range in price, many Kelly bags often start at $10,000.)
“Beautiful,” Sofia exclaimed in social footage, unboxing her new purse. “Woah!”

Sofia’s presents didn’t stop with the mini Kelly, as Melamed also presented her toddler with a Van Cleef & Arpels pendant necklace. The back of the pendant necklace was even engraved with Sofia’s name.
“What color is that?” Melamed asked her daughter in a follow-up video. “It’s pink. Let’s put it on, yeah? Wow, that looks so pretty.”
Melamed previously gave her daughter a pink Mini Evelyne satchel from Hermès to celebrate her 1st birthday.
“Happy almost birthday to my little miracle, whose special day this year shines even brighter as it collides with the 8 magical nights of Hanukkah,” Melamed captioned a 2024 TikTok video.
Melamed has many handbags and accessories from Hermès herself, but it’s just one of the high-end brands in her closet.
“My husband is going to rate all the bags I brought on this 10-day vacation to Mykonos,” Melamed said in a September 2025 Instagram video. “Starting with the bag I use the most, it’s the Chanel 25. [It’s] super comfortable because of this little handle over here, so it doesn’t leave chain marks. I used it for travel [on the] 10-hour flight, diaper bag, snacks for the kids [or to] stroll around town.”
Melamed’s husband rated the Chanel purse a 10 out of 10, later giving his two cents on the three Hermès Kelly bags (in Blue Jean, Craie and Lime colors) that she packed for the trip.
“I use these mostly for night and during the daytime too because I wear them crossbody,” Melamed explained. “Most of the time, I actually end up [also] carrying one of these beach bags, so I just use this for sunglasses, a lip gloss … and my credit card.”
Melamed’s husband, meanwhile, thought the Mini Kellys were “nice to travel” with and subsequently rated them a 9 out of 10.
