Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, and fiancé Wayne Duece are mourning the death of their infant daughter.
“I been [sic] the saddest since u left me, Codi Dreaux,” Duece, 33, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Saturday, January 31. “But, I know [you are] at peace. Daddy will always love you.”
He continued, “My baby. #LongLiveCodiDreaux.”
Broadus, 26, and Duece have been together since 2018, getting engaged in November 2022. They welcomed their first child, Codi, prematurely in February 2025. After a stint in a hospital NICU unit, the infant was discharged last month.
“She’s home,” Broadus wrote via Instagram on January 6. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
Weeks later, Broadus revealed that Codi had died.
“Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she captioned an Instagram Story photo earlier on Saturday. “20 days later? Dawg, I’m sick.”
Cori, Snoop’s daughter with wife Shante Broadus, has since reposted several emotional tributes to her late infant.
“My BerriBo, my Codi Bear. You came in my dreams to let me know you’re OK,” Cori and Duece’s baby nurse wrote in an Instagram tribute of her own. “I love you, babygirl. I’ve been sad for six days straight.”
She continued, “Being a nurse has its ups and downs, and this is the biggest down I ever experienced. It was such a pleasure being my babygirl’s nurse. I gave her one last bath, told her I loved her and didn’t even know I was getting her ready for Heaven.”
The medical professional further offered her condolences to Cori and Duece.
“Her parents @princessbroadus and @wayneduece are forever in my heart,” the nurse concluded. “My family 4ever.”
Cori has also had the support of Snoop, 54, and her brothers.
“Lil sis, we got you forever,” Snoop’s son Cordell Broadus wrote via his Instagram Stories on Saturday, sharing a family photo.
Snoop (real name Calvin Broadus) also shared a family photo to his page, with a “💖🙏🏾” caption.
Codi had been hospitalized in the NICU unit for nearly six months.
“She’s so resilient and strong,” Cori exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in September 2025. “She just has so much character. The doctors and nurses always tell me, ‘Your baby got her mind. She’s smart. She’s alert. She knows what’s going on. She can hear. She can see. Yeah, the circumstances are not what you thought they would be, but it could be worse.’ That girl is just a sweet little firecracker.”
Visiting her daughter in the hospital, however, was never an easy experience for Cori.
“The NICU is a different type of experience, just like you gotta know to know, and it’s not an easy place to be but the support is amazing,” she told Us. “Sometimes I go in [the NICU] and I can’t stop crying, and I apologize. They’re like, ‘What are you [apologizing] for? This is normal. If you wasn’t crying, we would be worried. We’d be concerned, so just try to just stay close and just keep hope alive.”
