Dad, you’re outnumbered! Ryan Gosling spoke about his newborn baby girl, Amada, on Good Morning America on Thursday, May 12, saying life is magical with Eva Mendes and their older daughter, Esmeralda.
GMA host Amy Robach first noted that the girl-to-boy ratio in the Gosling household recently turned 3 to 1. “Yes,” the Nice Guys hunk, 35, replied, confirming the news of his daughter’s birth. He then noted: “It’s heaven. It’s like walking through a field of flowers every day. I live with angels.”
And Gosling didn’t stop there. “It’s a ray of sunshine in a dark time, actually, because with Russell [Crowe], it’s sad that we’ve turned out this way,” he quipped.
Gosling and his longtime girlfriend, Mendes, welcomed their second baby girl, Amada Lee Gosling, in Santa Monica on April 29. The A-listers kept the pregnancy a secret until last month, when Luxury Handbag Shopping broke the news that the Hitch actress was expecting their second child. Mendes was photographed at the time concealing her baby bump with a large bag.
The two were also very private with Mendes’ first pregnancy back in 2014. Daughter Esmeralda is now 20 months.
