Nick Viall and wife Natalie Joy have double the reason to be happy in 2026 — they are expecting twins!
“Our rainbow babies are finally ready to join us and this time it’s TWINS 🌈🌈,” Viall, 45, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, February 4, in a joint post with Joy, 27.
The couple announced the pregnancy news by posing for photos with their 2-year-old daughter, River.
In one snap, Joy’s growing baby bump is on full display while both she and the former Bachelorette contestant hold a sonogram of their twins in one hand and Viall carries River in his other arm. River is wearing a “Big Sis” sweater in celebration of the news.
In the second picture, River is leaning in for a kiss with Joy as Viall holds her. The last photo is a series of Polaroids from the pregnancy photo shoot, capturing the family’s excitement.
Joy’s pregnancy reveal is an especially joyous moment after the couple have experienced three miscarriages over the past year.

After welcoming daughter River in February 2024, Joy has been open about her ups and downs while trying to have a second baby.
Joy, who married Viall in April 2024, revealed in March 2025 that she suffered her second miscarriage just two months after her first.
“While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again,” Joy wrote via an Instagram Story at the time. “It took some time for me to accept what had happened only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast.”
Joy explained that after finding “so much happiness” in her surprise pregnancy shortly after processing her first miscarriage, she was heartbroken to suffer another pregnancy loss so soon.

“We were finally in a place of complete and utter gratitude. [Then], this past week, I miscarried again,” she recalled. “I underwent a D&C this time, which was harder than I imagined.”
In August 2025, Viall told his and Joy’s “The Viall Files” podcast listeners that she suffered a third miscarriage and was therefore taking some time at home to rest and process the loss.
“As you can see, Natalie is not with us. There’s no easy way to talk about this. … Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage,” the former Bachelor shared at the time. “It’s her third this year, our third this year. There’s no really good way to say it — it f***ing sucks. She’s obviously at home resting, healing, both physically and emotionally.”
Viall confessed, “It’s been a whirlwind and we’re trying to get through it as a family. Part of this challenge is still appreciating what we have, having River, and life goes on. It’s all very confusing how you’re supposed to mourn something like this … but we appreciate your support.”
Despite so much heartache in one year, Joy was optimistic about her and Viall’s future while paying tribute to her husband in September 2025 on his birthday.
“Obsessed with the life we’ve built together!” Joy wrote via Instagram, sharing moments from her happiest times with Viall. “Happy birthday to my husband and baby daddy!!! to more babies, more achievements and even more love ❤️❤️❤️ we are damn lucky.”
Three months later, Joy reflected on the hard year the couple had and shared one of the ways she has been processing the losses.
“The year that was full of heartbreak but I’ve never felt more loved ❤️🩹❤️ 2025 was growth and that is all I can ask for,” Joy wrote via social media in December 2025. “Excited for 2026 with my people.”
Joy then shared that after she “miscarried 2 babies and [I] had this ring made,” showing off a ring with two pear-shaped green gemstones she had crafted in April 2025 to honor the babies lost in both January and March of that year.
She added, “Little did I know we’d lose 1 more before the year ended,” referring to the August 2025 miscarriage.
