Lady A’s Hillary Scott is sharing special news with her fans.
On Thursday, February 13, the country singer, 38, revealed her family is growing by one. The Tyrrell family of five will soon be the Tyrrell family of six.
“Chris, Eisele, Emory, Betsy, and I are overjoyed to report that this summer our family will be made complete with the most precious little SISTER joining the family,” Scott wrote via Instagram alongside two black-and-white photos. “I’m dusting off that Maternity bin from the storage room ONE more time 😅.”
The first photo showed Scott’s three oldest kids wearing beaded bracelets that read, “Big Sister.” The second photo revealed the maternity bin she was dusting off.
Scott, 38, and her husband, musician Chris Tyrrell, have been married since 2012. They share daughters Eisele Kaye, 11, and twins Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, 7.
Eisele stole fans’ hearts over Christmas when she joined her mom on stage at the Today show to sing their new song, cowritten by Tyrrell, also 38.
“Watching our oldest, and you know, her talent, her gift, her voice, and her lyrical ability, it’s just, I’m such a proud mother,” Scott told American Songwriter at the time.
Scott told Us in December 2024 that all of her girls express their musical talents differently. Emory loves to think up melodies, while Betsy loves to dance — and now they’ll have a fourth little girl to possibly share their musical talents with.
“🩷🩷🩷🩷4 daughters. 🥰,” Scott continued on Thursday. “We are thankful that God has entrusted us with a household of little ladies, and I couldn’t be happier that my husband continues his streak as the absolute BEST girl dad, in my opinion!”
“We have been looking forward to this day,” Scott added, “and covet your prayers for a continued safe and healthy journey getting her here.”
On her Instagram Story, Scott shared that her pregnancy is why she’s been “quiet” on Instagram, revealing she’s also been dealing with morning sickness.
