Kristin Cavallari is commemorating the end of 2024 with some never-before-seen pics of her kids.
“Disposables + end of year fun,” Cavallari, 37, captioned an Instagram slideshow on Saturday, December 28, which featured a rare photo of her daughter Saylor’s face.
In the pic, taken at a Nashville Predators game earlier this year, the 9-year-old was the spitting image of her mom in a hockey jersey and “Go Preds” face paint. (Cavallari also shares sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 10, with ex-husband Jay Cutler.)
A second snap of Saylor was featured in the roundup, which showed her seemingly helping Cavallari cook a meal by placing ground beef into a pan. In another pic, one of Cavallari’s sons, whose face was not shown, lent a helping hand while making Christmas cookies.
The Instagram post also featured several photos of Cavallari hanging out with friends and an adorable pic of her dog, Quinn.
Cavallari has notably kept her kids’ faces off social media over the years, often sharing pics of them facing away from the camera. She defended her decision to begin showing her eldest son’s face on Instagram earlier this year.
“OK, I appreciate everyone DMing me telling me that I showed Camden’s face, I know,” she wrote in a September 2 Instagram Story. “He’s a little bit older now and he wants to be on social media, which is the only reason why I showed him.”
She previously poked fun at her methods of keeping her kids’ faces off the internet in a May 2022 Instagram birthday tribute for Jaxon. “Every year it gets harder to come up with creative ways to hide their faces so I can post a pic on their bdays (yes, I realize a lot of you don’t get it— I want my kids to make their own decision to be on social media instead of me making it for them),” she captioned a photo of herself covering her son’s face with a No. 8 balloon. “Well, this photo isn’t great but it’s Jax’s birthday and my little man is 8 today which blows my mind.”
Cavallari and Cutler, 41, welcomed their three children before ending their seven-year marriage in April 2020. The pair agreed to split custody of their kids before finalizing their divorce in 2022.
Back in October, the former reality star revealed that their custody agreement had changed. “I have no interest in getting back into the dating world right now. I also don’t know how much time I have for dating,” Cavallari — who split from her ex-boyfriend Mark Estes in September — shared on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids and that’s changed.”
Cavallari did not specify how the custody agreement was altered at the time. “So I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and work,” she continued. “Happiness for me is peace and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it. I’m a homebody — I really am. Being home and cooking and having friends over. Those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”
