Jason Kelce will “definitely” be getting a vasectomy in the future — but the timeline is still a bit unknown.
On a Tuesday, September 2, episode of the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast, Jason, 37, opened up about his and Kylie Kelce’s thoughts on having a fifth child. (Jason and Kylie, 33, share daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2 and 5-month-old Finnley.)
“Listen, if a boy happened, that would be fun,” Jason told hosts Taylor Lewan and Will Compton. “But I think at the end of the day, I say what my dad [Ed Kelce] always said … we’re very blessed to have four healthy, smart, charmismatic, amazing children and, like, I would not trade any of that for a second.”
Jason noted that he knew he wanted at least “three kids early on” because of his own experience growing up with his one brother, Travis Kelce. Still, he isn’t sure if more children are in the cards.
“Kylie said she wanted five. So we’re at four now and I think we’ll see. That might be it,” he explained, adding that the couple are “bringing up the v-word more than ever” before. “So we’ll see if it happens.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles player shared that he will “definitely get” a vasectomy once they decide they’re done having kids.
“I think we’re still kind of in that, like, are we done [phase] … we’re figuring it out,” he said.
Jason and Kylie most recently welcomed their fourth child, daughter Finnley, in April.
“Whoop, there she is! Finnley ‘Finn’ Anne Kelce. 3/30/25,” Kylie wrote via Instagram alongside a series of photos of their newborn.
Jason has previously spoken about some of his favorite parts of being a dad.
“Seeing the learning process and, like, the curiosity of a child all manifesting is just, that’s probably my favorite part about being a parent,” Jason gushed on his and Travis’ “New Heights” podcast in February. “Just watching a child figure things out and being there with them while they’re doing that. And like, how amazing something as simple as, like, figuring out how to open up the fridge, or, you know, whatever it is every day, there’s gonna be something that just blows her mind that you take advantage of every single day as a grown-up.”
Jason went on to say that he and Kylie are “in the thick” of raising their young daughters.
“It’s gonna be crazy. I still don’t know how we’re gonna handle four, but it’s gonna be intense,” he said at the time.
