Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, are tackling her fourth pregnancy like pros.
“I got it pretty easy, I’m not gonna lie,” Jason, 37, told E! News in an interview published on Monday, November 25. “There’s another girl, so the clothes are all going to be hand-me-downs or already bought. The crib is already situated. So we’re pretty set.”
He went on to joke that Kylie, 32, is “definitely preparing more than I am, because she’s actually growing the human being.”
Kylie announced that she and the former Philadelphia Eagles center are expecting their fourth daughter by sharing an adorable (and hilarious) photo of their little girls sporting “big sister” sweaters. Wyatt, 5, reacted to the news by holding her head in her hands, while Ellie, 3, smiled at the camera. Bennett, 21 months, had several tears running down her face.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,” Kylie captioned the Friday, November 22, Instagram pic. “At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!”
While chatting with E! News, Jason went on to gush about his love of being a girl dad. “I love my kids so much, and especially my daughters,” he stated, “I was telling somebody out there because they’re expecting their first — and they look at you. They smile at you. There’s just a way that kids have to warm your soul in a way that nothing else can.”
Jason noted that it’s been “such a blessing to have three healthy, smart, wonderful children,” and wishes the same for his and Kylie’s fourth. “We’ll be able to watch them fight and tear each other apart and all the good stuff,” he quipped.
Jason and Kylie became parents one year after they tied the knot in 2018. The couple’s family grew with the births of Ellie in March 2021 and Bennett in February 2023.
Several years into his parenting journey, Jason said “patience” is the biggest lesson he’s learned as a dad. “The most rewarding thing is just smiles,” he added. “To me, seeing them smile or seeing them laugh — like nothing in this world makes you feel better.”
Jason’s family were just as “excited” about his and Kylie’s baby news as they were. “Mom and Dad [Donna and Ed Kelce], they got the best stage in being grandparents,” he shared. “They go and spoil them, really have fun with them, and then hand them back, so we’re the ones that got to be the bad cops. So, they’re excited, for sure.”
The duo also received subtle congratulations from Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The pop star dropped a “like” on Kylie’s pregnancy announcement post.
After sharing her pregnancy news, Kylie poked fun at her past self by reposting a July TikTok upload in which she denied being pregnant. “Famous last words,” she wrote over the clip, which she followed up with footage of her daughters in their “big sister” sweaters.
