Australian influencer Veruca Salt is expecting her second baby nearly three years after her newborn son Cash tragically died.

Salt, 27, uploaded a TikTok video on Wednesday, March 11, where she took a pregnancy test.

After finding out the test was positive, Salt pretended to gasp in shock before adding, “I’m faking it for the video. I’ve known for ages.”

In a follow-up video, Salt admitted that her pregnancy was “very confusing.”

“Pretty much last year I was trying to get pregnant on purpose, and then this year, I’d made peace with it,” she said. “I said, ‘I’ll tell the universe I don’t want a baby, and I’ll do my own thing and work on myself.’ So, I got drunk for two months straight, got on birth control and boom, baby.”

Salt married an unidentified man in November 2025, nearly two weeks after meeting, but they divorced in December 2025. Salt confirmed on Wednesday that her ex-husband is not the father of her unborn baby. (She did not share the baby’s paternity.)

“My ex-husband is not the father,” she said in another TikTok upload. “Just want to make that really f***ing clear. If he was, I’d be in the clinic. I’m, like, six weeks pregnant and I haven’t been with him since December  3 or 4, can’t remember.”

Salt further joked that she was “marked safe” from becoming her now-ex’s “baby mama.”

This is Salt’s second baby. She previously welcomed son Cash in 2023, two months before he died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

“[It was] the biggest and worst thing I’ve ever been through,” Salt recalled to Rolling Stone in May 2024 of the infant’s death. “I want a reason, but I’ll never have one. I don’t think it’s fair for people to act like I did anything wrong or to try and fill in the blanks when my baby is dead. They get to be hateful and then move on with their life after one scroll, and this is my life 24/7. This is how it will be for me forever.”

Salt has continued to share memories of her late son via social media after his death.

“I deserve to post my baby like everyone else does. My son lived such a short life, he didn’t get the chance to change the world or do anything,” she told the outlet. “These short videos of him are the only impact he gets to make on the world. Even though some people are sick and twisted, it’s worth it to me to have millions of people remember my son.”
