Hailee Steinfeld and husband Josh Allen’s infant daughter already has her own cheering section.
“Cha Cha officially clocked in!!!💕,” Hailee’s mom, Cheri Steinfeld, wrote via an Instagram comment on Thursday, April 2, seemingly revealing her grandparent nickname.
The Sinners actress’ dad, Peter Steinfeld, echoed his wife’s comments, replying, “Pop Pop officially clocked in!!😊❤️.”
Hailee’s brother, Griffin Steinfeld, also sent his best wishes to his baby niece.
“Uncle Griffin officially clocked in!!❤️❤️😎,” Griffin replied.
Hailee, 29, confirmed earlier on Thursday via her “Beau Society” newsletter that she recently gave birth to her first baby.
“Special delivery … Our baby girl has arrived!!” a statement read, alongside an illustration of a stork carrying a blonde baby wearing a “Beau Society”-branded diaper. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Josh, 29, is the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, whose official Instagram account also reacted to the “Beau Society” post.
“CONGRATS! ❤️💙,” the Bills’ Instagram comment read.
Hailee and Allen, who have been together since 2023 and got married last May, announced in December 2025 that they were expecting their first baby.
“This week, I was sitting on the couch in my family room, and the reality that our little family is about to grow really started to settle in,” Hailee wrote in a February edition of her newsletter. “The most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it [and] the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day.”
She added, “Sometimes I find myself asking big, lofty questions (‘What am I going to be like as a mom?’) or having vivid daydreams of what our life is about to look like when the three of us are cuddled up in the nursery together.”
While Hailee couldn’t quite conceptualize what mom life would entail at the time, she noted that her world was “about to expand in beautiful ways.”
“We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much. I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point,” she concluded. “For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.”
Allen had also been candid about his hopes for fatherhood.
“Becoming a dad [is] something that I will take with great pride,” Allen told reporters during a January press conference. “We’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else. This is the most important thing I’ll be in my life — being a dad. I know I love being a football player and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I’m looking forward to this one.”
Hailee and Allen did not immediately reveal their daughter’s name or photo.
