Before Blue there was Baby Bey! On Thursday, Sept. 4, Beyonce turned 33 and celebrated her glorious B’Day with a precious throwback picture of her childhood self wearing a party hat.
In addition to offering fans of the Houston, Texas native a look at a rare family photo, the picture also showed off similarities between Beyonce and her 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who won over many viewers at the MTV Video Music Awards late last month.
Little Blue went up on stage inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. with her father Jay Z to present the “Flawless” singer with the coveted Video Vanguard Award, shouting, “Yeah, Mommy!” into the mic.
Her first televised appearance inspired fans and celebrities alike to fawn over the tiny tot. A host of stars took to Twitter, including Katy Perry, who tweeted, “OMG BLUE IVY JUST PERSONALLY WAVED AT ME. MY LIFE IS OVER.”
