Glee alum Becca Tobin is doubling down on her thoughts about Matthew Koma’s involvement in Ashley Tisdale’s “toxic” mom drama.

“Now let me tell you, I don’t think there’s any loser. There’s no loser in this group, to me, not one, except for Hilary Duff‘s husband,” Tobin, 39, said during the Tuesday, January 13, episode of the “LadyGang” podcast. “I think it is so gross when husbands jump in and get petty. Especially, since Ashley did not name names.”

Tobin explained that things would have been different if Tisdale, 40, had named names in her initial The Cut article, but that was not the case.

“I really am rubbed the wrong way when a man inserts himself like this and it’s solely for him to get attention,” the former Glee star continued.

“LadyGang” cohost Jac Vanek told listeners that Koma is someone known to “stir the pot” online.

“He always inserts himself into things. It’s not as surprising that he would do that in that situation as a normal husband,” Vanek continued. “I wouldn’t want my husband doing it.”

Tobin’s biggest issue with Koma is that he “attacked a woman” in a public manner.

“He called her self-obsessed, or whatever. He said something about her being self-absorbed, and I think that’s so tacky,” Tobin said. “I would be so upset with my husband, whether or not I got along with this person. We had a falling out. Whatever the thing is. She goes low, and then he goes lower.”

The actress continued, “I think it’s actually really gross when a man comments on something like this. It’s offensive for what he said about her. I don’t like it at all.”

Tisdale caused quite a stir when revealing that she left her “toxic mom group” in The Cut article published earlier this month. The former Disney Channel star did not name any other stars in her former friend group. However, it’s been widely reported that Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor, among other stars, were involved. (Tisdale’s rep denied she had written about any A-listers.)

Duff’s husband, Koma, appeared to confirm this when responding to Tisdale’s op-ed with a social media post. He posted a faux article of his own with a caption similar to what Tisdale had written.

“A mom group tell-all through a father’s eyes,” Koma posted. “When you’re the most self obsessed tone deaf person on earth, other moms tend to shift focus to their actual toddlers.”

Tobin initially slammed Koma’s involvement, writing, “Ew,” when seeing how he mocked Tisdale before further discussing the entire situation during Tuesday’s podcast episode.

“I don’t know a lot of the inner workings of the toxic mom group,” Tobin clarified. “I can see both sides. I can understand why. This is where she is in her life. This is the moment that she’s at in her life. A young mom with young kids. Your world revolves around your kids, so then your world becomes your friend group. And I think she was just trying to — and it’s relatable, so many women deal with this as they become moms and navigate the mom groups.”

She continued, “I understand why she did it, but what I don’t understand is that somebody in her life should have told her, the internet sleuths of America, of the world, are so incredible that they’re going to know within three seconds that this article comes out, exactly who you’re talking about.”
