Hilary Swank and husband Philip Schneider couldn’t have been happier about the arrival of their twins, Aya and Ohm.

In October 2022, Swank revealed her pregnancy during an interview with Good Morning America.

“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom. And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it,” she gushed.

Swank and Schneider — who have been married since 2018 — welcomed their two little ones in April 2023.

“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼,” Swank wrote via Instagram, without revealing the names of her kids. “Happy Easter! 🐣🐣Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽.”

Less than one year later, on Valentine’s Day 2024, Swank revealed that her daughter’s name is Aya and her son’s name is Ohm.

“I have a busy week of talk shows ahead where I’ll be sharing about my new film and a fun partnership, but I figured what better day to share the names of my two little loves with you all first👼🏼👼🏼💝,” she captioned an Instagram photo of her kids sitting on the sand with leaves spelling out their names.

In December 2025, Swank received criticism after allegedly accusing a mom on a Make-A-Wish trip with her kids of trying to take a picture of her. Swank seemingly apologized for the incident, claiming that she did not want Aya and Ohm to be photographed.

Nearly one year after giving birth, Swank revealed that her daughter’s name is Aya and her son’s name is Ohm.

A February 2024 Instagram post featured a photo of her kids sitting on the sand and looking at the ocean with what appeared to be leaves spelling out their names on the sand.

“Aya was a Syrian refugee we met in Lebanon. So she was just this courageous, brave young girl full of life going through a really difficult time. My husband and I were like, ‘She’s so beautiful, what a great name,’” Swank said on the Today show that same month. “Ohm is considered the first universal sound and unites all people, and that sounds very fitting.”
