Bullied for her weight as a child, the singer-actress developed an eating disorder that turne into a lifelong struggle with food. When critics attacked her weight at the MTV VMA's, she tweeted: "Guess what? I'm healthy and happy, and if you're hating on my weight you obviously aren't."
"Everybody fluctuates, but I'm open about my weight and I'm still confident," the mom-to-be told Lucky magazine. "I got so much scrutiny for putting on extra pounds, but I think that the decision not to make myself anorexic was actually great for branding. Because when you're really, really skinny, not everybody can relate to you."
