Sydney Sweeney is setting the record straight on her famous curves.
Sweeney, 28, was asked about her breasts during a Thursday, December 11, episode of Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test, shared via YouTube. While hooked up to the polygraph machine, Sweeney’s The Housemaid costar Amanda Seyfried said, “There’s been a question on everyone’s mind recently, and I just have to ask. Are your boobs real?”
Sweeney truthfully answered, “Yes!” while laughing. Seyfried, 40, then pressed the actress on the subject, asking if she’s “ever had any work done on them.”
“No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere,” Sweeney replied, to which the test administrator confirmed it was “truthful.”
Seyfried then playfully asked Sweeney if she could “touch” her boobs, to which she replied, “Sure.”
Sweeney previously told Glamour UK in December 2024 that she once considered going on the knife.
“When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were,” she shared. “I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller.”
The Euphoria star then shared that her mom, Lisa Sweeney, talked her out of getting a breast reduction.
“My mom told me, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college,’” she recalled. “And I’m so glad I didn’t. I like them. They’re my best friends.”
More recently, Sydney got candid about feeling uncomfortable in her body during her childhood while chatting with Allure in a YouTube video posted last week. When asked what advice her Euphoria character, Cassie Howard, would give her, the actress hilariously said she wouldn’t turn to the student for advice.
“I don’t think I would take advice from Cassie, to be honest,” she said. “I mean, Cassie was way more confident in her self-image than I was in high school.” She added, “So maybe something like that, but I don’t know if I would.”
The Anyone But You star has continued to be asked about cosmetic procedures during her various press runs.
“I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m going to age gracefully,” Sydney told Variety in October while promoting Christy. “It’s really funny. I’ll see things online like ‘comparison pictures.’ I’m like, ‘I’m 12 in that photo. Of course I’m going to look different. I have makeup on now and I’m 15 years older.’”
Another reason she hasn’t gotten any injectables is because of her phobia of needles. “I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing,” she noted.
Last month, she told Wired that her fear of needles is so intense that she needs to be “held down” while getting her blood drawn or getting shots. “I have the biggest phobia of needles. The biggest,” she explained. “I don’t know what happened when I was young, but I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried therapy, hypnotism, laughing gas, nothing works.”
She added, “It’s something that I’m trying to get better on.”
The Housemaid premieres in theaters on December 19.
