Tamra Judge is clearing the air about recent speculation that she had plastic surgery.
“Everyone’s, like, ‘What? You look different,’” Judge, 57, said on the Monday, July 14, episode of her “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “I think even Andy [Cohen] said that. I’m, like, ‘My hair’s darker. I’m definitely thinner, which makes a difference.’”
The Real Housewives of Orange County star, who recently spoke with 57-year-old Cohen on a July episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, noted that losing the weight is particularly noticeable in her face.
“Then, [I got] new teeth. That’s it, guys,” she quipped to guest cohost Dolores Catania. “No surgery, no nothing.”
While Judge hasn’t recently had any work done, she underwent a CO2 laser treatment, brow lift and chemical peel in 2024.
“I’ve had a lot of friends [who] have had it done. My plastic surgeon does them all the time,” Judge exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping in September 2024 of the backlash to getting the procedures. “Heather [Dubrow, my RHOC costar] said [her husband], Terry Dubrow, does them all the time, and I haven’t experienced anything negative.”
Judge, however, dealt with an array of difficult side effects at the time.
“The first couple of days was pretty brutal, and then after that I had to go on a steroid pack to get the swelling to go down,” she recalled to Us. “So, as soon as the swelling went down, that was less painful. But then I had to deal with, basically like a burn victim, my skin was peeling off my neck for some reason. They say it’s the most painful. It burned, it itched, and that lasted for a couple weeks. I’m still scratching my hair and getting skin off.”
Afterward, Judge noticed that her skin had started to look “amazing.”
“My skin is still really sensitive and very thin, and it’s rebuilding, and my staples are removed out of my head from the brow lift,” she said. “So that’s a good thing. I’m still sore, but overall feeling pretty good.”
As for her weight, Judge has been open about how she slimmed down through the years, but often denied that it was due to Ozempic.
“These comments that I’m on Ozempic are disgusting. I’ve suffered from intestinal problems for years. I’ve had multiple surgeries in the past 12 years,” Judge wrote via X in October 2023. “My grandmother died of intestinal problems. I’ve never been on Ozempic and personally, wouldn’t use it for weight loss!”
Ozempic and other similar semaglutides are commonly prescribed to adults with weight-related conditions. It is not recommended for casual weight loss.
