J.R. Ewing has suffered a setback.
Dallas actor Larry Hagman has been diagnosed with cancer. The 80-year-old said in a statement, excerpted by E! Online, he has "a very common and treatable form of cancer."

TNT is creating a reboot of the 1980's series expected to premiere in the summer of 2012, and cancer won't prevent Hagman from being a part of it. "I will be receiving treatment while working on the new Dallas series," he said.
