Kylie Kelce has no shame in wearing her maternity jeans postpartum.
Kelce, 33, opened up about still rocking her stretchy jeans while chatting on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast on Thursday, May 29. As Kylie, who welcomed her fourth baby, daughter Finn, 8, with husband Jason Kelce on March 30, played a game to find out exactly how millennial she acts, she came across a question asking if she wears skinny jeans or mom jeans.
“To be clear, any jeans I put on are mom jeans,” Kylie said. “I will say this: I haven’t worn skinny jeans in a minute but they’re definitely still in my closet so I’m waiting for the moment they come back. I hate to break it to you, [but] they are [coming back.] I’ve seen some influencers wearing them.” And she’s right — Alix Earle brought back the look with a Frame collection, which more social media stars, including Remi Bader, Brigette Pheloung and more have worn.
Kylie elaborated, “On another note about jeans, I would just like to share that [my producer] Emma once told me about a postpartum jean hack.” She went on to explain that she was using a hair tie to hold her pants together because they were a bit too tight, until her producer encouraged her to pull her maternity pants back out.
“I ran with that,” Kylie said. “I have worn my maternity jeans recently in the past couple of weeks. And I will continue to do it until I can button back up my old jeans.” (Kylie isn’t the only one who is still wearing her maternity clothes postpartum — most women do for a few weeks to months.)
Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Kylie admitted that she does indeed wear low-rise socks, which is also a millennial trend.
Kylie and Jason, 37, are also the parents of three other daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2.
